| Entertainment: I have some 6500+ MP3's, all at least 256kbs encoded, most are 320k. The SBLive card has full 5.1 surround with digital soundfield processing capabilities that are out of this world. The X-10 remote ties in to WinAmp for complete remote control. I also use a Creative CD-DVD drive for DVD playback. NAvigation: I use the Delorme product, which I have stuck with since the early carputer days when I installed a carputer in my Mazda pickup back in early '99. Great product - full of features, and the USB GPS receiver acquires position data in just a few seconds. Engine monitoring: The small 5.4" display in the a-pillar location is used with the Conzult product (dual-head Matrox video card for twin-display) to show all engine runtime parameters, diagnostics, etc. Engine tuning: Of course, I have a ZEMulator in the setup as well. I also have an intel USB camera in the car for recodring video of track events, messing around, etc. A few other goodies include Wireless keyboard, WiFi NIC, USB AM/FM tuner, and touchpad mouse is integrated into the ashtray location. Once you have something like this with its capabilities, there isn't really any other option.
